Wherever you look in this world, the bustling of people and trade is everywhere. Vrystoria is a paradise of multiculturality, where one can acquire knowledge of all kinds. Vynora is the main deity worshiped in this world, leading the Arcanum Tower to the opening of new doors that lead to even further riches. But the story of this world has now turned dark.

The homeworld of Azohra, the place where she stole and corrupted the Key of the Heavens. Her rise to power meant that the whispers of darkness could now be heard in Vrystoria. The population started to turn greedy, they now looked down on other worlds and viewed them as mere vassals. Crime and poverty rose as the powerful became ever more corrupted.

The Arcanum Tower stood as the sole beacon of light guiding this world. But its search for knowledge had turned into an inquisition, and slowly but surely even its fundations became corrupted. It took Azohra many years to bring the tower down, but after the successful orchestration of the High Priest assassination, the end was already in sight. Now that the Tower has fallen and the spirits of the dead are starting to rise, Vrystoria lies almost completely taken by darkness. Many people are turned refugees, both from Vrystoria and from many other worlds that relied on its influence to fight against darkness.
